History of Nye Works

Hello! This is me, Michael Nye, and my website, in its fifth generation, I believe. Boy, has it improved, too. I started learning HTML at the age of 10. I remember my first site, a couple of nothing pages in frames. Bad color, too. But I didn't care, because it was genuine me, and my first ever. Next, I learned CSS and redesigned it; it was much nicer.

The next two version were quite similar, except that the colors changed, and a lot more small things were added that made them all the more better; yet they still were borderline. During that time, I learned PHP, and started coding, mostly with a guest book.

Then I developed a completely separate thing, a family blog of sorts. This was my first major PHP project. It was also the beginning of this site. The final version before this never really went anywhere, it was more my first real stab at some truely nice designs. It failed. However, it spurred me on to this, possibly my best yet. And I hope to get even better.
